From Conflict to Connection: The 7 Skills for Challenging Conversations

Do you find yourself wishing you knew how to address unspoken tension but are worried you'll 'ruffle too many feathers' or not be taken seriously?

Do you notice that your team, partner or family members seem hesitant to share what's really on their minds or avoid conflict entirely?

Are you frequently noticing inequities at work, but are unsure how to bring this up effectively?

If so, you’re not alone.

In an ever-polarizing society, we lack examples and tools for how to engage in healthy tension and constructive conflict that leads to deeper connection rather than disconnection.

These are the leadership skills we need to guide ourselves and others through turbulent transitions, create more resilient relationships and engage in the challenging conversations necessary for real behavior change.

Here at Inheritance Project, we are committed to teaching evolutionary leaders like you those leadership skills.

Here’s the hard truth: if you want committed relationships where you can actually grow, you need to have uncomfortable conversations that you've likely been running away from.

Our micro-relationships with each other are the foundation for a new society, and we want to lead the way.

Whether it's a colleague at work driving you crazy, a family constantly arguing about politics and causing division, or you're a coach or leader who wants to create more inclusive environments, then this masterclass is for you.

Join us for a 60-minute deep dive into Conflict Resolution led by Inheritance Project CEO, Katya Stepanov.

You will learn:

  1. The first 3 steps of our 7-step process for navigating challenging conversations.

  2. Language to use (and not use) when calling someone IN during a difficult conversation.

  3. Communication and nervous system regulation skills you need to turn conflict into connection.

You’ll walk away with greater awareness, support, tools, and confidence to have a difficult conversation at home or at work.

The session will be recorded and the recording will be sent to everyone who registers.

ABOUT INHERITANCE PROJECT

Inheritance Project facilitates innovative leadership, inclusion and community-building programming through the lens of inheritance.

A new definition of Inheritance (n): ancestry, culture, beliefs, values, social conditions, stories, traits and perspectives received from past generations.

Your inheritance is more than the physical items passed from one generation to the next. It is the accumulation of all your unique lived experiences that shape how you live, think, and connect with others.

Inheritance Project’s mission is to heal divides and empower teams and communities to become spaces of belonging, where every individual can thrive, by expanding our understanding of our individual and shared inheritance.
