Bridge Builders Lab: Conflict Workshop

WHAT IS THE BRIDGE BUILDERS LAB?

A gathering for *evolutionary* leaders to get support working through a current conflict or challenging conversation at work or at home.

Conflict is defined as a struggle resulting from opposing needs, drives, wishes, or demands. Many of the inevitable conflicts that we encounter in our lives are a result of our different identities, inherited beliefs, world views, and life experiences. While the phrase “conflict resolution” may sound like it refers to war and big global issues, most of us deal with it daily in conversations with our co-workers, family members, and friends.

If you are ready to be a Bridge Builder - a leader who transforms the inevitable conflicts of life into opportunities for greater understanding and connection - come refine your skills alongside our global community of fellow leaders who are devoted to growing and evolving together.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

In this interactive workshop, you’ll be guided through individual exercises to gain new insight into the conflict you’re facing, based on the 7 Skills for Challenging Conversations framework. You’ll leave with actionable strategies to make progress on the situation.

There will also be time to debrief as a group and receive live coaching if you choose. If you desire to keep your situation confidential, you will be able to participate without sharing details.

HOW TO PREPARE

  1. Participation in a From Conflict to Connection workshop is a pre-requisite for attending, as we will be assuming a basic understanding of Inheritance Project’s 7 Skills for Challenging Conversations - if you haven’t attended From Conflict to Connection you can watch the most recent replay here:

ABOUT INHERITANCE PROJECT

Inheritance Project facilitates innovative leadership, inclusion and community-building programming through the lens of inheritance.

A new definition of Inheritance (n): ancestry, culture, beliefs, values, social conditions, stories, traits and perspectives received from past generations.

Your inheritance is more than the physical items passed from one generation to the next. It is the accumulation of all your unique lived experiences that shape how you live, think, and connect with others.

Inheritance Project’s mission is to heal divides and empower teams and communities to become spaces of belonging, where every individual can thrive, by expanding our understanding of our individual and shared inheritance.
